Welcome back Wayne.  Wayne Kellam has been in Ireland for 3 weeks and just returned from his vacation to ride this Thursday Night.

We did the Chalk Hill out-and-back, about 20 miles, with seven riders.  The pace almost matched the Tour De France record setting pace of 31 MPH yesterday in France (well not quite) but we did have a frisky group tonight.

John, from Kendall Jackson, and Richard Winegarner set a blistering pace until we reached the first hill but we fell a little short of 31 MPH.  It was a good workout though, in very nice warm weather, but not too hot.

At the intersection of Chalk Hill Rd. and 128, John from KJ, tried to talk us into doing Franz Valley, but no one except John decided to do it.  The traffic on Mark West Springs is just too heavy at that time of day.  We had a great ride and will meet again next week at Willowside School.
