43 mi, 5 L, 3000 ft Billy Goat Old Santa Cruz Hwy We'll meet near the restrooms at the NE corner of Ponderosa Park, 811 Henderson Ave, Sunnyvale. Up Old Santa Cruz Hwy, and down Soquel-San Jose Road, to our $5 hike/bike campsite at New Brighton State Beach. Bring quarters for the shower, and a lock for our dinner at Beer Thirty. Rated L because I'm very slow on hills, and am in no hurry. I expect we'll arrive around 5:00. Faster riders can go ahead. RSVP requested! (You can also meet me at Vasona Park, by request.)
